Victory of the Lamb Ministries

Worship

Every Sunday we have a public worship service at 9:30 am.  Our worship service is designed for everybody in your family--whether children, teenagers or adults.  We encourage your children to be a part of our worship--even if they get a bit rowdy.  We understand!

Our worship services are Bible-based, relevant to real life, and relaxed.  Each week you will enjoy upbeat and meaningful worship with quality music led by our church worship band.  We aim to merge the best of the Christian Church's past with the best of the Church's present for a meaningful contemporary worship service that relates to both the past and the future.

Each week you will hear positive, practical messages from the Bible.  Our pastor has a crafted conversational style of preaching that will not only challenge your intellect but will also touch your heart as he brings the truth of the Bible into your real world life.

Our goal is also to make use of technology, visuals, and video clips as we highlight Jesus and what he's done for us.  We believe that the highest form of worship is for us to come to God trusting him for forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ.  So everything we want to do in worship is to bring us closer to Jesus and to teach us what we need to know about him.

We invite you to come to worship comfortable.  If you've rarely been in a church before, or if you've found church boring and dull, give us a try at Victory of the Lamb.  We're a church where there is serious Bible teaching, but in an atmosphere that is family oriented and relaxed.

Bible Studies

Sunday Morning Adult Education - Every Sunday after worship.

Bible Quest - for kids ages 2-10 every Sunday after worship.  Interactive, engaging, fun!

Bible 101, 201, 301 - Got questions about the Bible, about God, about life?  This is the class for you.  It’s designed for anybody who’s just looking to find out more about what the Bible says in a low pressure environment.  Don’t know much about the Bible?  No problem!  You won't be alone.  You won’t get awkwardly put on the spot.  We’ll just dig into the Word together and see what it says.  I also invite anybody who’s interested in becoming a member of Victory of the Lamb to take this class.  If interested…please contact Pastor Ben or 414-433-4970.  The next Bible 101 begins Saturday May 24.

Neighborhood Groups - We think it's important for every individual to grow in their discipleship. One way great way to do that we think is to get conencted into groups that participate in activities such as Bible study, community service projects, social events, and outreach. Contact us for more info on when and where groups meet.

Bible Babes - is a women's Bible study and friendship group that meets every month at the Franklin Public Library.  Women of all different backgrounds and life situations are invited.  Childcare provided.  The next Bible Babes meets Saturday, May 10th in the Children's Activity Center at 10 am.  Pastor Ben's wife, Sarah, leads the group.

Community Life

We are always looking to help our community become a better place to live and work.  We want to show the love of Jesus in practical ways too.  We will look to get involved in volunteer service projects to help the community.  We also want to be actively involved in canvassing and other outreach projects to share the victory of Jesus with our community.

4th of July Parade

Every year we're going to enter a float in the City of Franklin parade, play music, and invite our community to our summer events.

Hallepalooza

Hallepalooza is a summer event for families.  It's a picnic/concert in the park at Lions Legend Park in Franklin. The whole community is invited.  We provide food, music, games, and door prizes.  The day closes with a Bible based devotion and praise time.  This summer Hallepalooza is on Friday, July 18, from 4-9.

Victory Soccer Bible Camp

This August 4-7 we're going to hold our seccond annual co-ed soccer camp for children in our community ages 5-13.

At this camp we hope to offer each child a F.E.A.S.T.  We hope this camp will be a great source of Fun.  We hope they will gain useful soccer Experience.  We hope to have plenty of Activity, to teach them to work on their Skills and to work on how to improve their Teamwork.  We also will be having a spiritual feast daily, by learning more about a loving God.

Last August we had an awesome first year.  We'd like to make this a Victory of the Lamb summer tradition as a way to have a lot of fun, get people involved, and share the victory of Jesus with our community.

Family Fest

In October we want to have a fall festival for our community.  Last October we had pumpking painting, caramel apple dipping, a scavenger hunt, games  and crafts for the kids and a chili supper.  Family Fest is definitely going to be a yearly part of our ministry.

Christmas for Kids

Is an opportunity for parents to drop off their kids at the Franklin Public Library so they can go Christmas shopping...or do whatever else they want to do for kids 3 - 10 years old. We provide games and crafts, music, snacks, and the classic Christmas story in a familiar, safe environment.

Easter for Kids

Similar to Christmas for Kids, this event gives parents an opportunity to have a free afternoon while leaving their kids ages 3 - 10 years old with us at the library to teach them about the biblical story of Easter.  This past March we had over 60 kids and we're ready for even more.

Global Outreach

Victory of the Lamb is a congregation that belongs to the WELS, a national church body that supports worldwide mission and relief work in over 20 foreign countries.  We walk together as a synod also to train missionaries, pastors, teachers, and staff ministers as well as to publish biblical materials in many different languages.

Currently the WELS supports mission work in 30 countries and has churches in all 50 states.  We are excited to be a part of a denomination that has a passion for reaching more and more people with the truth of God's Word.  Together we reach out in ways we could never do on our own as individuals.  Click here to find out more about our church body, the WELS.

Pastoral Care

While our pastor isn't a psychologist, he does have training as a counselor who uses the Bible.  In particular he would welcome the opportunity to provide a marriage enrichment course to any couple thinking about or planning on getting married.

Pastor Ben also welcomes the opportunity to visit you if you're in the hospital or to provide comfort and direction from God's Word in any trial in your life.  Please feel welcome to contact Pastor Ben if there's anything he can do for you.
