2/1/2010 - Teen Group Planning Pary

...is happening this Thursday at Pastor Ben's house from 6-8 pm. If you're interested in being a leader or involved in the planning process, contact Pastor Ben. We're excited to get something going to get our teens involved, growing, and having fun togther.

1/4/2009 - New Year, New Bible 101 class

This class is for anyone who wants to learn about God and find honest answers to their spiritual questions. There are two options for you to attend: Tuesday evenings or Saturdays afternoons. This new Bible 101 class starts Saturday, January 23rd from 1:00-2:30 pm and also Tuesday, January 26th, from 6:30-8:00 pm at Innovative Health and Fitness in their community room.

The same lesson will be taught on the Saturdays as the following Tuesdays. For your convenience you have the choice to mix and match the days you can attend—whether Saturday afternoons or Tuesday evenings. Bible 101 is 4 lessons/4 weeks long. Bible 101 is your opportunity to learn about the Bible and ask the spiritual questions that are on your mind.

It is also the first prerequisite to becoming a member of Victory of the Lamb if you’re interested. All materials are provided free of charge. Please let me know if you want to attend so I can have materials for you. Bible 201 will begin the week after Bible 101 for those who want to continue learning more about the Bible.

1/1/2009 - Ministry Plan 2010 and Congregational Open Forums

All VotL members and attenders are invited to read through this year's Ministry Plan and attend a congregational Open Forum to react to it and talk about how we as a church can continue to share Christ’s victory into the new decade. There are 2 options for you to attend an Open Forum. The first is Wednesday evening, January 6th, from 6:30-8:00 pm at CESI. The second is this Saturday, January 9th, from 2:00-3:30 pm also at CESI. CESI is Competitive Edge Software Inc. and is located at 9850 S 54th St in the Franklin Business District. You can download and read the Ministry Plan via the Victory Online Community.

11/29/2009 - Christmas For Kids Registration Now Online

It’s an opportunity for you to get your Christmas shopping done. Drop off your kids so you can shop…or do whatever else you want to do on Saturday, December 19th at the Franklin Public Library. Meanwhile your kids will have fun playing games, doing crafts, and learning the classic Christmas story—all in a familiar, safe, environment. All kids ages 3 – 10 are welcome! Click Here to Register.

9/23/2009 - Adult Bible Fellowship Group

...is a Bible study, fellowship, and fun group. We meet every Wednesday evening from 6:30-8 pm until November 18th. We’ll break for December and then start up again after Christmas. Childcare is provided every Wednesday at the parsonage. The group meets in the big multi-purpose room at CESI 9850 S 54th St in the Business Park in Franklin.

9/13/2009 - Fall Kickoff Service and New Sermon Series Starting

the big idea:

Maybe you’ve heard the saying, “Defense wins championships.” But no one would deny that offense is extremely important too, not just in a football game, but especially in the game of life. We’re all in it. This game is real. The outcome is eternally significant. The Opponent is real too and he’s ready to destroy your faith and the faith of everyone you love. Now’s not the time to sit back and hope for the best. It’s time to attend church, get the game plan and then confidently go on the offensive. It’s time to break the huddle and get some victories with the help of God!

Join us beginning September 13th as we kickoff our new worship location at Showtime Cinema and begin this practical new series.

6/15/2009 - New Sermon Series Starting: Imitating Our Father

the big idea:

An invaluable gift for the believer is the blessing of a "spiritual father." For some that spiritual father is the patriarch in the family. For others the spiritual father may be a pastor or a mentor within the church. A true spiritual father has a deep faith, nurtured through constant use of Word and sacrament, seasoned through the struggles and trials of life. A true spiritual father teaches, encourages, rebukes and exhorts with a tender heart of compassion because he knows the joys, the struggles, the trials and the dangers of life from firsthand experience.

The Scriptures cite Abraham as the spiritual father of all who believe. Starting with Father's Day and running through the end of July we will retrace Abraham's spiritual faith-walk (and sometimes faith-stumble) gleaning some incredibly relevant lessons for our own spiritual journeys.

6/12/2009 - Summer Bible Class Opportunity

Summer Bible class on the minor prophets, you know, guys like Haggai, Jonah, etc. will begin this Wednesday and go for 9 weeks. The class is 6:30 - 7:30 pm on Wednesday evenings and is at CESI (Competitive Edge Sofware) at 9850 S 54th St, Franklin, WI 53132. You don't have to make it to all 9 classes. Come as often as you have the opportunity. Everyone's invited. Contact us for more info.

6/12/2009 - Hallepalooza Date

Hallepalooza, our picnic and concert at Lion's Legend Park in Franklin will be on Sunday, July 26th from 4 - 7 pm. Food, fun, and music for the whole family. And it's all free. The whole community is invited! Lots of door prizes!

6/1/2009 - Soccer Bible Camp Dates

Once again we're having an awesome soccer camp for kids ages 5-12 this summer. It's lined up for August 3-6th, 1-4 pm, at the Polonia Soccer Club. We'll be mailing postcards and info at the end of June.
