the big idea:

“Joy to the World!” is a song that brings images of happyChristmases, smiling faces and jolly carolers. It’s meant to lift hearts and unite people in singing. But, what about when YOUR world doesn’t seem so cheery? What about when the joy is muffled by finances, joblessness, brokenhearts, sickness or pain? Where is the joy? Are we all out of luck this Christmas? Join us Christmas Day as we hear how God knows EXACTLY what we are going through and sent the PROMISE of joy – JESUS.

December 25: Joy To Your World

God has made us that promise through the gift of his Son, Jesus. This is the joy the angel promised on that first Christmas night, “Do not be afraid! I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people” (Luke 2:10).

January 1: Another New Year of God's Grace

How could God put up with a guy like that? That’s a natural question to ask when you read about some of the characters that God patiently put up with in the Scriptures. Yet what about when it comes to you and me? How could God put up with a person like me? In a word…grace. Call it a do-over. Call it a fresh start. It’s God’s patient, undeserved love. And it’s really, truly amazing. God wants you to experience it and to share it in 2012!
