the big idea:

Many people came to Jesus searching…searching for healing, searching for answers, searching for peace of mind. Some went away disappointed because what they were searching for wasn’t what they really needed. They need something more. What are you searching for? Are you finding what you truly need…or are you looking for more?

April 5 (Palm Sunday): Find Love!
Although we hear a lot of talk about love, the real deal, the committed, sacrificial, lay down one’s life for another—the love that we really need—it’s hard to find in this world. Find Jesus, however, and you will find love!

April 12 (Easter Sunday): Find Hope!
“I’m sorry,” the doctor says, “the cancer (the injuries, the disease) has progressed beyond our ability to help. There’s little hope…” Living in a world of nothing but sin and death, a world of hopelessness—that’s incredibly oppressive. But we don’t live in that kind of world anymore. We live in a world where death has been defeated. Find Jesus and you’ll find hope!

April 19: Find Compassion!
“If I only had more faith!” Have you ever felt that way? The truth is we all could use more faith. God knows our weakness. Instead of telling us to have more faith, he seeks any and every way he can to give us the faith we need. Find Jesus and you’ll find compassion!

April 26: Find Freedom!
All too often what we are prisoners and captive to most in life…is our fears. And isn’t it true that most of our fears stem from the things we don’t know or understand. We have someone who will open our minds to understand the things that we truly need to know. Find Jesus and you’ll find freedom!
